John Alvarado served with the Rail Transportation Office as the Rail Transportation Officer from 1986 to 1989. He was the Officer In Charge of the Duty Train that rode between Berlin and Frankfurt nightly. He was also the OIC of the APLO (Airport Liaison Office) at Tegel Airport plus a whole host of other duties.
